There are downsides to having a brand-new fancy CD player. It's too darn sensitive. It picks up every single little imperfection. So far I've found two songs on my Rent Disk 1 that skip-skip-skip until I figure out how to do that fast-forward thing that doesn't move on to the next song. Ugh. It plays *perfectly* in my car. What's with that? Disk 2 is still fine, but I never played that one as much as Disk 1. My fav songs are on Disk 1, and I would take it back and forth between the car and the house all the time. But you would think that a better-quality player would play songs better than a lower-quality car player, right? Grrr. It should have some mechanism to gloss over the scratches. Heehee. In a perfect world, huh?
