This is going to be
This is going to be the post of randomness. You were given fair warning.
ALF is doing commercials. For 10-10-220 or something. I love ALF! They even have a line in there about cats. <.g> How sad is it that a great majority of people seeing that commercial just aren't going to get it? Lol.
I ushered the basketball game today. They won!! They NEEDED to win. Badly. The first half sucked bigtime. At one point, Purdue had exactly three times as many points as Illinois. Lol. But they pulled it together and it was a GREAT game. I thought it might go into overtime, but it didn't. Excitement. I ushered with this guy... he was funny. He LOVES kids and kept pointing the cutest ones out to me. lol. And he knew a lot about basketball, and I don't so much (I enjoy it, but I never know what the calls the refs make mean... lol), so he kept demonstrating the calls. Like if I would ask what happened, he'd show me what kind of foul had happened. He reminded me SO MUCH of Randall from FL. If he hadn't mentioned living an hour from school, I'd have asked him if he was from Biloxi. ha ha. So I had fun. I like it when I usher with people. If I'm in C, I'm usually alone because there are TONS of portals in C, but in A, there aren't as many so most are doubled up. Today I was in A.
Changing gears again, I found this humorous. It was in a magazine from... from the looks of it, No Strings Attached era. Big Justin hair, but not at its full... bigness... and JC didn't have very much hair at all. lol. Anyway, JC was talking about *NSYNC's staying power, and this is what he said: "To me good music is good music and someone will buy it. When our fans go off to college, I don't think they'll have our posters on the wall, but that's not to say they won't like our music." Ha! He was right on most of that... but the first thing most people see when they come into my room is my framed mini-poster signed by Chris. <.g> I thought that was funny.
Okay, is that all I wanted to blog about? Hmmm... I can't remember if there was anything else. I guess there's always the next post. ha ha.
