LOL. I just looked at
LOL. I just looked at Kristine's blog and saw the Friday Five... I so cannot answer those questions. Lol. <.blush> Maybe I will make up my OWN Friday Five. ha ha. Or take five random questions from the survey my sister sent me... that sounds good to me. I'm awake, I'm chillin', I can do a mini-survey/alternative Friday Five. <.g>
1. What is the most random thing in your room?
Honestly, a chanter. What is a chanter, you ask? It's bagpipes without the bag or the pipes. It's what you learn to play the bagpipes on. My mom is half-Scottish and she thought it would be cool if my sister and I learned to play a song on the chanter for my grandpa. Ha! It's quite a bit harder than it looks.
2. What song most defines your life?
In light of the upcoming holiday, I am going to say "On My Own" from Les Miserables. Aside from the fact I LOVE that musical and I LOVE that song (and sang it for solo contest in 7th grade... heehee), it totally IS me.
3. What is the nicest thing you have done for someone?
I put this one down because it is a challenge to think of. I think the most meaningful thing I have probably done is, for Jessica's graduation, I made this book... It has a page for each "important" day/event I could find pictures for from her high school years, and I wrote a little story to go with it that left room for her to fill in her viewpoint as well, and then there were pages for college also. I think she liked it a lot. And I had fun doing it.
4. What is the nicest thing someone has done for you?
Actually, this is kind of ironic. I didn't go to my senior prom (for a lot of reasons... ugh), so my two good friends and I went downtown and just had a really good time. Well, someone sent me a flower basket. After drilling my friends and my parents over and over again, I was finally convinced they hadn't sent it. So I called the florist and she told me a "nice young man who wished to remain anonymous" had sent them, and I really think the fact that I still, to this day, do not know who sent me those flowers has made it even more fun. Like, if I knew, then it would be over. But since I don't, I still think about it periodically. Keeps the fun alive, or something. <.g>
5. The classic... What are your plans for the weekend?
Obviously my plans do not involve getting all geared up for Valentine's Day. I feel like my weekend is over already, since I just got back from Chicago. I totally feel like it's Sunday. Exciting that it isn't. lol. I'm ushering the men's basketball game tomorrow, and the had BETTER win. It's against Purdue. It's crucial. They've been having a rough streak lately and March Madness is coming up. So I will cross my fingers and send some winning vibes their way. Lol. Cuz I'm powerful like that. <.g> It should be fun. Other than that, it's homework time, I suppose.
