Wandering Aimlessly

I have a whore of a headache. ::whimpers:: Too bad I can't miss class.

Look, Carolyn, I'm blogging. <.g> I don't really have anything to say... I missed Real World again last night. Totally forgot. I've totally forgotten to watch it every week so far. Lol. Ah well, it's not Chicago so I'm not, like, burning to see it.

I had an exam yesterday. Would have gone better if I'd read the book, but I think I got a good lot of the 32 questions that WEREN'T from the book correct, and I hopefully guessed correctly on at least some of the 8 that were, and there were 4 bonus questions which I was pretty confident on, so.. yeah. Not so much with the exciting news there.

Oh, we workshopped my story in narrative writing. People liked it! Really, almost everyone started out their comments with "I really liked this story." Whee! John, my professor, even said "I don't really have much to add to this." That's a good sign. He really didn't much like my last story. So I'm glad he liked this one. Lol. He pointed out a few places he wants me to expand, which he seems to want to do in half the stories we read. I think my class would kill me if I expanded what he wants me to. The thing was already 8 pages... I know in the wide world of short stories, that's not many at all, but in a class where we each read and comment on three stories per class period, plus course packet readings, plus journal entries... getting longer than that is going to start making some enemies. Ha ha. All in all, I'm satisfied with the reactions of my classmates. That makes me feel better. I was a bit worried after that first story, which none of my classmates read, but which John just didn't *get.* So, yes.
