Exams suck.
YAY for professors who are the NICEST people EVER and decide that they will give pluses but not minuses. Because pluses count for more than a straight grade, and minuses count for less (ex: B+: 3.33, B: 3.0, B-: 2.67). If we ever get the choice at all as to whether the class is scored using the plus/minus system or not, it's... yes or no. Both or neither. Someone suggested almost jokingly that we should have pluses but not minuses, and he laughed. Then today, he decided "Western civilization will not end if I give out pluses but not minuses." Whee!
BOO for getting a B+ instead of an A. =( With the curve. I so should have gotten an A. There were three questions I KNEW. Like, KNEW. I even drew the pictures correctly, worked everything out correctly... either interpreted the answers or the questions incorrectly. <.sigh> I hate that. So if I'd gotten two of those three right, I'd have had an A. That's what I get for being in a hurry to get out of class early. =/ If I honestly don't know the answer, I don't feel bad about getting it wrong. And all of the others I got wrong, I really didn't know. I wasn't even between two and guessed wrong... I just plain didn't know them. But those three... man. Grrrrrrrrr. I didn't even have question marks by them. Like, I KNEW them! Ahhh! Oh well. I'll get over it. And at least, with his grading system, I got a B+ and not just a B.
