Friday Five
Okay, so it's technically Saturday. But still. It's a continuation of Friday night, so, yes.
1. How many TVs do you have in your home?
Like a lot of things, we have three. Shelley's got one in her room, I've got one in mine, and there's one in the living room. It's physically impossible for the two of us to utilize three televisions at once, but they're there should we be inclined to try. *g*
2. On average, how much TV do you watch in a week?
Watch as in, pay attention to, probably about two hours, give or take. Friends and/or ER if I have time, and then the random show here or there. But I have the TV on a heck of a lot more than that. MTV while I get ready in the morning, Nick at Night while I fall asleep. I don't really watch it so much, then, though.
3. Do you feel that television is bad for young children?
This is not a topic you want to start me talking on, because I could go on for hours. I feel some television is good for children. Such as Sesame Street, Blues Clues, etc. I feel other television is extremely, extremely harmful to young children. And that's all I'm gonna say 'bout that.
4. What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you're heartbroken?
I wouldn't say heartbroken, but I make an effort to watch Friends and ER every week. I used to have to watch X-Files, but that's no more.
5. If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like?
I'd have a movie every day. Maybe a couple. Good ones, not crappy ones. And then I'd have classic shows like the Cosby Show and Cheers and Dick Van Dyke, and newer shows like 7th Heaven and X-Files and Felicity, and it would show the first two seasons of SeaQuest (when it was good), and the first three years of 90210, and Friends and ER. And in between everything would be an MTV Hits-like set-up (since we don't get that channel here and I WANT it), which would play all the best videos since the beginning of MTV. Yes. That would be my station.
Tonight Aarti, Shif, Amy and I made s'mores on Aarti's electric stove. It was fuuuuuun. It was all rainy outside, and we didn't have access to a fire/gril, anyway, nor did we have access to a gas stove. So. Electric worked just fine, and we had a yummy snack. <.g>
Jess is coming tomorrow. She's actually in town now, but she's staying with one of her friends tonight. Tomorrow we do the Sisterly Bonding thing. Heehee.
And now, I sleep.
