Wandering Aimlessly

Well, my narrative writing class got cancelled. That's a good thing, since I have an exam in an hour. Of course, I'm not studying, am I? Hmm.

I got my 333 exam back yesterday. This is the exam that was split into two parts: lecture and lab, and the class average on the lecture portion was a low C, and the class average on the lab portion was a 66%. That's a D. Needless to say, I wasn't too thrilled. Anyway. She ended up making two of the questions on the lab portion extra credit, since sooooo many people missed them. That gave me a 110% on her portion of the exam and a 96% on the exam overall. *g* I can relax a bit in that class, now. There still is the final, and the rest of the paper, and quizzes and such, but a big chunk of the class is finally over, and I did well.

So last night, Emily yelled at me for caring TOO much about school (in that I CAN'T make myself miss class, I just can't. Even if it's a good reason, I try EVERYTHING short of missing class first), and this morning, Karey yelled at me for not caring ENOUGH about school (in that I wasn't studying for my exam, really, because the class isn't hard and I don't care if I don't get an A, and she pointed out that not caring because I'm close to the end only works in HS, not college) (ps, love ya, Karey! *g*) and I'm just all kinds of conflicted now. Lol.

Tonight is a career presentation in which I have to pimp myself to get an interview. Oh, the joy of such events. And tomorrow, I have an interview with a different company, in which I have to pimp myself to get a job. Oh, the joy of such events. This is going to be a running theme, I believe. Self-pimpage. The job search is such a meat market, of sorts. Ack.

Carolyn has her Disney meeting tonight. She will soon have her interview. GOOD LUCK, C!!!

Now, with my remaining half-hour of extra time, I should actually look over my notes for my exam once more. Just to be safe.
