Wandering Aimlessly

Too bad I have to work on Saturday.

Not much exciting here. I've been reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It's quite good.

I really wish I could lock this journal so that only the people I want to read it would be able to. But I can't. And it's not so much that there are only a select few people I would like to know what is going on, but more that there are a select few people that don't need to know how I feel about certain recent events. So all I'll say here is that I had a rather upsetting day yesterday, which could flip itself right around and turn into the best thing for me if things turn out the way I'm kind of hoping they will, at the moment. Cryptic much, Kate?

Anyway. Tonight, I went out to dinner with Tammy, Dorothy, Emily and Jamie. Goodness, all my friends' names ended in the "eeee" sound. Heh. We went to Famous Dave's, to which I had never been. It was good. Lots of food, so Tam and I split a meal. Was still a lot of food. Yeesh. Tomorrow, I am meeting Sarah after work for lunch. Can't wait to see Sarah. And then Sunday, I am having lunch with John. This is one big weekend of out-of-town friends being in-town. Love it!

Of course, Aarti is moving. To Ohio. On Monday. This makes me sad. *sniff*

The Fourth of July is coming up rather quickly, now, isn't it? We get to wear casual at work on the 3rd, which tickles me pink! Jeans! To work! Eeee! Those crappy suits I wear all the time are oooooooold. Feh. Another exciting thing about the 4th coming up so quickly? CFTC! The 15th I leave for Miami! Eeeee!again!
