Friday Five
1. How are you planning to spend the summer?
Working. My first summer of being a member of the Real World. Even if I've worked through the past however many summers, this time it's for permanent. =/
2. What was your first summer job?
Was a Jack-of-All-Trades-type at an engineering firm.
3. If you could go anywhere this summer, where would you go?
Somewhere I'm not already going? I wish I could go with my family to Arizona, but they're going two weeks after I get back from Miami, and I just can't take that extra vacation time. I would also love to go to California, but I always want to go there, so that's nothing new. *g*
4. What was your worst vacation ever?
I can't really think of a bad vacation. I guess the closest comes to a long-weekend camping trip we took when I was about 10. My sister swallowed a Jolley Rancher and it got stuck in her throat, so we had to go to the hospital an hour away... she swallowed it down as we were walking in the doors. The next day, she tried to show me how she could close the van's back door all by herself (she was eight, and tiny, and it's one of those open-upwards doors), so she stood in the van, jumped off and grabbed the door to pull it down, only my head was in the way of a sharp-sharp corner. Didn't knock me out, but boy did I see stars! So that trip wasn't particularly enjoyable for those reasons, however the rest was fun.
5. What was your best vacation ever?
Boy, that's hard to come up with, too! I've gone on so many wonderful trips. England/Scotland was wonderful, I adored my trips to CA, wouldn't give up WDW for anything, had a blast on the cruise last year, didn't want my New York weekend to end, could have totally spent more time in Washington DC... yeesh, it sounds like I'm a travelin' fool. These trips were spread out over many years. But they were all great.
