CSI! At the Bank!
Today, we were robbed.
No one was hurt, so it was actually a really exciting experience. The bank went under lockdown, the LAPD came in, and the FBI. The FBI! The FBI dusted for fingerprints! That was very cool to watch. But some of the LAPD had Very Large Guns (frighteningly so), and one was quite the Officer Hottie. They were there a few hours. Everyone was questioned separately, pictures were taken, and the bank was closed for a good three hours.
Most excitement I've had at work in a long time. More exciting than the day the power was out and we were trying to fully operate in the dark, without computers. More exciting than the tornado alarms going off and having to usher all the customers downstairs into the safety deposit vault. More exciting, even, than closing Epcot due to a fire, and having to go in on my day off to help some of the 40,000 displaced guests.
Because dude, the FBI dusted for fingerprints! Totally like being in an episode of CSI, without the murder. Super-cool, so long as no one was hurt. *g*
