I am NOT a cook by nature. My natural inclination is to toss some (possibly pre-cooked, if I'm really on a roll) chicken with some boxed couscous, maybe add a little salsa and a touch of swiss cheese and call it a day. To me? That is a gourmet meal. But every once in a while, I manage the whole cook-from-scratch thing.
Tonight, I had a go at Aarti's Butter Chicken 'recipe'. I use the word loosely because, while there's a list of ingredients and a general order for which they should be combined, some key details such as measurements are missing. All in all, I think it came out pretty well. A little on the spicy side, but I like it spicy. Yum.
