Saturday, 2/2/08: TV Takes the Stage
For thirteen months I never once forgot to take a picture of the day. Until now. It was 12:28 am when I realized I hadn't taken a picture, but it was still part of Saturday night, right? Oh well.
Elaina and Danny came down from Santa Barbara to go to TV Takes the Stage. It was eight short plays written by TV writers to benefit non-writers affected (effected? why do I have trouble with that word?) by the strike. The theatre was teeny-tiny and all the plays were really neat. It was put together very last-minute so a lot of the actors were on script, but it didn't even matter. We recognized a lot of the actors, which was fun. For example, Richard Speight who was the Trickster in the Supernatural episode Tall Tales. It took me a while to place him after he walked in the door, but I was proud when I finally figured it out. *g*
Anyway, it was lots of fun. I always enjoy hanging out with Elaina and Danny. And Elaina always finds these neat little events to go to.
