Saturday, 2/9/08: Draino
Our bathroom sink had been running progressively slower. The regular Draino didn't do the trick, so it was either call a plumber, or try Dual Action Super-Duper Extra-Strength Macho Draino. Since we are now, under the new House Rules, responsible for paying for any plumbing expenses (for our shared, thirty-plus-year-old plumbing), we went for the Draino. Seems to have worked so far. *crosses fingers*
It was a productive Saturday filled with spending money, YAY! PetCo and the grocery store were necessary. I tried to find a pair of glasses I liked, but was unsuccessful. S and I went to the mall where I spent way too much money on much-needed work clothes. I finally got another black suit jacket to replace the one that developed a hole in the elbow. It is time to get rid of some older things, methinks (like that holey jacket).
Then we saw The Bucket List, which was quite good. I am the ideal audience member, as I give in to every emotion filmmakers try to play with.
