Dawson was good last night

Dawson was good last night - only bad thing was that Dad was in the room while I watched! <.sigh> Meaning I didn't get to hear Jack call Tobey his boyfriend (if he even did) in front of Andie because I had to turn the channel in order to not piss him off. I did get to see them wash the car because Dad was with Josh, though. : ) : ) That was so cute - wish I had taped it. I also loved Pacey standing up to his teacher, who then let him retake the test.

West Wing made me cry. It was just incredible. The flashbacks - Jed and Mrs. Landingham had a very Josh/Donna relationship. The banter was there, and she was challenging him to be who she knew he could. Amazing to see. And to see such a devout Catholic standing in the Cathedral and hollering at God in English and Latin - just, wow. Totally Emmy-worthy. The pain and anger and frustration was just palpable. I burst into tears when he called Josh his son and really didn't stop for the entire episode. It wasn't really a cliffhanger, because I think it was obvious that he had made his decision when he put his hands in his pockets and turned away with a smile. He was going to fight with all of his being, and good for him. The whole episode, he wasn't himself - he didn't know numbers, trivia, he wasn't talking. Then Mrs. L came one last time to kick him in the ass, and he took up her challenge. Can't wait to see it again.

Oh, and I was at the Kitten boards this morning - in this week's Angel, there was this hilarious scene with this guy Nunbar doing the dance of joy, and the dance of honor. Jennie and I were cracking up. Then, I found out that the guy playing Nunbar was none other than Joss Whedon!! I have to rewatch it, knowing that it's him. <.giggle>

My dad's driving me nuts - wish we didn't need him around so much this week. We could all use a break! I'm going in for an inservice at Therapeutic Interactions on Tuesday, and I'm so nervous! I need ideas. <.sigh> But I'm also going to get a job at the front desk there in the afternoons - greeting clients, answering questions, computer work, some filing. Should be fun. : )
