The temperature is a whopping 2 degrees right now. It's gonna drop down to about -10 tonight, and rise to a high of 5 tomorrow. Yay for winter! LOL

I've gotten about 300 of thse mydoom e-mail viruses. I use Outlook Express - I deleted all the e-mails I got that have attachments once they landed in my inbox. as long as I don't open the attachment, I'm good, right? Having it download from my server into my inbox hasn't given me 300 copies of the virus, has it? I used to know/be sure of what I was talking about; tonight, I have to ask.

I LOVE TiVo. I've watched GH every day since I got it set up, since I don't have to worry about rewinding and retaping. GH sucks horrifically, but I am still 100% in love with Georgie and Dillon and will be forever and ever ever. ::nods emphatically::

Mom and I "highlighted" my hair again. We're not sure how it happened, but I'm really kind of completely blonde. In certain areas. <.g> It's hard to see with the lighting, makes it look a lot darker than it is, but here are two examples.

And the final step in graduate applications has been finished - letters were ordered to be mailed off. Now, we wait. And hope.

The restaurant does not make ostrich anymore. I was so disappointed! But the waiter was very helpful and nice and fun, and directed me towards a venison platter that I enjoyed just as much. It had this amazing chili-based sauce that was just this side of spicy, and I loved every single bite of it. The ostrich hunt continues, though. <.g>

This week, I got the entire series of Remember WENN converted onto DVDs. I'm in seventh heaven, I swear. I've watched the first 8 eps in the last three days. I'm going to keep watching every episode in order. It's so fun! I'm so in love with Victor this time around. I can't WAIT until Maple and Scotty show up. Also, it's interesting to watch Celia - she's not jiving with my remembered conceptions about her. She's flirty, but doesn't take it as far as I thought she did. So far, anyway. <.g> She's got standards, and so we'll see how much that changes/stays the same during her run.

I wrote a trickyfish fic yesterday. Go, me! Now to keep this up. I don't want this to be another two story year, man. I have plenty of ideas, it's time to get them out.

Spent over $100 shopping online last night. Eeee, the cuteness! I love Old Navy. I got this adorable pink trenchcoat. I can't wait to wear it! Also got some body lotions - for years, I've had this "tic" where I shrug my left shoulder, rather violently, and everything feels all weird and wrong. Clothes, my skin, everything. I hate it, but I can't stop doing it. So I started thinking, and maybe it has to do with winter and my skin being too dry. So, yeah, giving it a shot. Can't hurt. I made my own formula over at reflect.com, and I'm excited to try it. Also created a sampler of perfumes, too. <.giggle> Hey, it was $5.

I get to eat ostrich tomorrow! Yay! Liss and I are going out to dinner, then coming back here to watch American Pie (which she's never seen!) and burn CDs before she goes back to school. Gonna be awesome, yo.

Also, I got American Wedding today! Never got to see it in theaters, so this will be much fun.

Did ya see my weather pixie yesterday?? It snowed! 6 inches. Whoo! Was less whoooo-ish when I was cleaning off my car at 7:45 this morning, or driving in snow for the first time, but snow! I took pretty pictures, will upload soon.

Started pilates today. Eeep! Fun, but scary. Mostly scary. Hopefully at the end, in six months, it will be more fun than scary. LOL Must learn how to breathe, yo. Still dizzy.

I'm getting WENN on DVD! And Biz and I are going to have a marathon over the phone and watch them together. I am SO excited.

Meanwhile, it's 12 out, and it had ben 60 a few days ago. Gotta love Chicago.

I have a weather pixie!! Ain't she the cutest? ::bounce::

I had a totally whacked out GH dream last night. I was, like, on the set, I guess as a guest. And they recast Lois, and she had a new husband now named Mark, and they had a little boy. So I started looking around for Brooklyn, only she didn't seem to have been cast. So I started asking the guy playing Mark why they hadn't cast Brooklyn, where she was, and then went to tell Ned that they all sucked. LOL

So, yeah, when I woke up, I decided that Brooklyn needs to be back on GH, as a 16 year old. Or so, give or take a year or two any direction. She needs to be all Lois-y, and witty and fun and I already inserted her into a number of storylines. Lois would have told her all about PC, they were her bedtime stories, and so she comes in knowing fun little tidbits about everyone, some they'd rather she not know. <.g>

This is what kept me sane all day, as I applied to grad schools. Again. All I need to do now is print one thing, address some envelopes, and mail them tomorrow. EEEEEP. And then I wait. Again.

I've always believed that what you do at midnight and on January 1 sets the tone of what you do all year long. So I was chatting with Karey, smiling, and reading an nsync story, and now I'm writing an nsync story and posting here. Because I want to be doing all that all year long. <.g>
